Notice on the Definition of National Holidays, Special Dates, and Long Weekends for Accommodation in 2026

Please find below the definitions of weekdays, peak days, holidays, and special holiday periods for accommodation in 2026 (Year 115 under the ROC calendar):
I. Definitions
Weekdays: Sunday to Thursday.
Peak Days: Fridays on weekdays and the day preceding a long weekend.
Holidays: Fridays, Saturdays, national holidays, and long weekends.
Major Holidays: The Lunar New Year period from February 14 (Sat) to February 22 (Mon) is designated as a Major Holiday period.
Special National Holidays:
Lunar New Year (1st day) — February 14 (Sat) to February 22 (Mon). Rates for this period will be announced separately.
Major Holiday rate: Holiday rate + NT$1,000.
Peace Memorial Day — February 27 (Fri) to March 1 (Sun).
Tomb Sweeping Day Holiday — April 3 (Fri) to April 6 (Mon).
Dragon Boat Festival Holiday — June 19 (Fri) to June 21 (Sun).
Mid-Autumn Festival & Teachers’ Day Holiday — September 25 (Fri) to September 28 (Mon).
National Day Holiday — October 9 (Fri) to October 11 (Sun).
II. Make-up working days and the last day of the Mid-Autumn Holiday (September 28, Monday) will be charged at weekday rates.
III. December 31 (Wednesday) is designated as a Special Major Holiday. Rates for this date will be announced separately.
